San Francisco with Benjamin & Zoe

We have been having a lot of fun catching up with Ben & Zoe. We have missed them so much! It has been very cool seeing the brothers together again. They are very alike and have the same interests and can talk hours and hours of things together... leaving Zoe & I just puzzled. haha. Yesterday we explored the campus of Berkeley California. I was enlightened by just stepping onto the campus grounds... Berkeley is a cute little college town. With a yummy mexican breakfast restaurant. Today we all drove to San Francisco and explored the downtown and around the Bay Area. I am in love with the city of San Francisco. I would like to move to San Fran. California was finally redeemed... I like San Francisco, California.

Our final night in PDX!

A special Thanks to Dad for letting us stay with you for the last two weeks. I am kind of torn from putting up some candid pictures of you from the other night... I know Timothy is tough to put up with... especially when he eats everyones food in the fridge... and likes to draw on peoples faces with green marker who happen to innocently fall asleep on the couch after a long day of work... (Sorry dad, Tim made me do this.) We love you very much other wise we wouldn't try to tease you so much.

Thank you Alanah for sharing your huge bed with Timothy and I. It was sure more comfortable than the couchs. Good job you have survived sleeping with us... or should I say us sleeping with you. Too many people are bed hogs and blanket hogs and why did i get stuck in the middle... squashed. I am sure you will miss my banging around in the dark for one of my numerous trips to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night...

We love you both very much! The last two weeks have been interesting but good. Thank you for your love and support. We will miss you dearly!

Saying our last goodbyes

Timothy and I have been very busy these last couple of weeks with all of our up coming traveling plans and the great news of the pregnancy. Thankfully we had finished most of our travel prep prior to god throwing us a curve ball. When we had learned that we were pregnant a whole other load of preparations got tacked onto our 'To Do' list. We are feeling fine. We have worked very hard saving money, packing and just getting ready for this amazing journey ahead of us for this next year. We have been finishing up our season in Portland.
We just moved out of our first apartment... The beloved Lafayette building on 16th and Morrison. We have wrapped up our work. Packed all of our belongings and have started our farewells. We had 3 prenatal appointments, blood tests and even an early ultrasound that cost $600! Yikes! We have been gathering all of our personal information and travel itinerary for everyone back at home. We have spent hours calling family and friends, skyping, emailing, writing letters, just about everything!

The last two weeks we got to hang out with my brother Anthony, that was a very special time for me.

We did have time to go to a cheesy mascaraed party for Lindsey. We made our own masks an hour before the party. Can you tell???
Last night we had dinner with some family in Canby, Oregon. I got to say goodbye to my mom and try to convenience her to fly to Koh Samui Thailand for the birth of our baby late May early June of next year.

We are Pregnant!!!!

During Labor Day weekend Timothy and I  finally purchased our plane tickets to Bangkok. We have 10 month round-trip tickets. After this purchase Timothy and I spent the next few days telling friends and family that we are finally going on our trip, we worked at wrapping things up in Portland, we put in our 30 day notice at our apartment, gave our employers the date of our last day and started packing. . . . And 10 days after all this change to prepare us for our trip to S.E. Asia and India. We find out that I am pregnant. God sure loves to surprise and just throw everything at us at once. We are very happy, excited and amazed at what this means. There is a little baby in my belly!
